Echo Vault

Echo Vault is heavier than most of what we cover, in a good way. You wander a dark station, solve environmental puzzles, and piece together what went wrong through audio logs. The atmosphere is genuinely tense.

Movement uses a virtual stick, which is always the weak point of mobile adventures. It works, but I'd recommend headphones and a steady grip. The camera occasionally fights you in tight rooms.

This one drains battery and warms the phone during long sessions, so plan around a charger. Worth it for the story, though. I finished it in three sittings.
